LTA KPOP EP 46: Top 5 Variety/Reality/Talk Show I Wish Was Back On (2014 edition)

Yes, I'm going to keep my promise and this episode is going to be about variety/reality/talk shows since I hinted it in the last episode or the two last episodes. There a lot of shows that stop airing for many reasons, more for funding but I super duper wish they could actually recreated and start them again. I actually did a list of for this topic in the past, as you can see this is going to be the 2014 edition, written in the year of 2015, how nice right?

5. X-Man

X-Man was a popular game show that ran between November 2003 to April 2007 on SBS with a total of 178 episodes. The show reached it peaked in 2004 but a decline in ratings led to its cancellation. The show was hosted by Yoo Jae Suk, Kang Ho Dong and Kim Je Dong with Kim Je Dong replaced by Gong Hyung Jin, Park Kyung Lim, and Lee Hyuk Jae.

Of Course, I never fully seen all the episodes to this show since I became an addict to Korean music, drama, and show but I have seen cuts. The cuts are so funny and full of laughter, and seeing the games that are played in Running Man are sometimes similar or exactly the same game play on this show. This show is popular for the game 'Of Course' and the love scandal of Kim Jong Kook and Yoon Eun Hye. And till today, this scandal is still bring up on Running Man since Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Jong Kook appear on both of the shows; Running Man and X-Man.

4. Come To Play

Come To Play is another show host by Yoo Jae Suk along with Kim Won Hee. 

There isn't much information I can find about this show, but I remember loving to watch them together because they were just so funny and the guests always seem to have fun too. 

3. Flower Bouquet

Flower Bouquet is a variety/talk show that hosted by Kim Yong Man and Jung Hyung Don that aired from July 2010 to May 2011. Each episode there is a different cast each episode casting idols groups and other celebrities. 

2. Family Outing

Family Outing is a comedy-variety show that first aired in June of 2008 with 2 season. The first season ended in February of 2010 and the second season started in July of 2010. The first season cast Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Hyori, Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Suro, Big Bang Daesung, Kim Jong Kook, and Park Hae Jin and later added Lee Chun Hee, Park Ye Jin, and Park Siyeon to the show. The second season cast Kim Woo Hee, Yoong Sang Hyun, Ji Sang Ryeol, Shin Bong Sun, Girls' Generation Yoona, 2PM Taecyeon, Super Junior Heechul, 2AM Jokwon, and Jang Dong Min. Basically all the cast member becomes a family and travel to the rural parts of South Korea and help the village that they are staying in, either way watching over the house, doing chores and helping the villagers. Of course, there are other guest that joins the family too, for example, Girls' Generation members, Big Bang's members, 2PM's members, with other actors and actress and comedian too.

1. Strong Heart

Strong Heart is a talk show or talk battle show that aired in October 2009 till February 2013. This show was host by Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Gi until Kang Ho Dong temporary retirement in which Lee Seung Gi host the show by himself until he step down in March of 2012 where Lee Dong Wook and Shin Dong Yup step in as the host of the second season of Strong Heart from April 2012 till January 2013.

Some of the fix cast member were Boom, Super Junior Eunhyuk, Super Junior Leeteuk, Super Junior Shindong, and Jung Joo Ri. The rest of the member are fill with twenty other guests form idol groups, actors, actress, gagman or other celebrities sharing funny, sad, happy stories.
