Today, we are talking about idol turn actress. Idols have been active in many parts of the entertainment world from of course being an idol to hosting, acting, and modeling. Plus we also give our wonderful idols love when they appear in drama and/or movies. Here I have for you my top 10 female idol turned actress. Look out for the next episode for the male edition.
10. After School Uee
Uee debuted in 2009 with the girl group After School as the sixth member. She then make her acting debut in 2009 playing the young Mishil in 'Queen Seondeok'. Some of the dramas she been is: 'You're Beautiful', 'Birdie Buddy', 'Ojakgyo Family', 'Jeon Woo Chi', 'Golden Rainbow' and a cameo in 'My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox' and 'All My Love'. Her most current drama is 'Hogu's Love' aired in 2015.
9. Secret Sunhwa
Sunhwa made her debut in the girl group Secret in 2009. She then made her acting debut in 2010 with the drama 'More Charming by the Day' playing as Kim Tae Hee. Some of the other drama she have done is: 'Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek', 'God's Gift - 14 Days', 'Marriage, Not Dating', and a cameo in 'All My Love.' Her most recent drama is 'Rosy Lovers' aired in 2014.
8. f(x) Victoria
f(x) Victoria actually made her debut through Kangta's music video 'Eternity'. She debuted with the girl group f(x) in 2009. She made her acting debut through the Taiwanese/Chinese drama 'When Love Walked In' as Shen Ya Yin. She also in 'Cocoon Town Legend' and 'Beautiful Secret'. She making her movie debut with the 2015 release of 'My New Sassy Girl'.
7. Dohee
Dohee made her debut with the group Tiny-G in 2012 and made her acting debut in 2013 with the drama 'Reply 1994' as Jo Yoon Jin. Since then she have starred in 'Boarding House 24th St.' and 'Cantabile Tomorrow'. She also have made cameos in 'Mother's Garden', 'Pluto Secret Society', and 'Hogu's Love'. She have officially left Tiny-G.
6. IU
IU made her singing career debut in 2008 as a solo artist. She then made her acting debut in the 2011 drama 'Dream High' playing Kim Pil Suk. She made cameo appearance in 'Welcome to the Show', 'Dream High 2', and 'Salamander Guru and The Shadows.' In 2013, she got her first leading role in 'You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin' and 'Pretty Man.' Her most current drama to be release in 'Producer' in 2015 whom she plays as Cindy.
5. f(x) Krystal
Krystal made her debut in 2009 with f(x) and then in 2010 she made her acting debut in the daily drama 'More Charming By The Day' playing as Jung Soo Jung. She made cameo roles in 'Welcome to the Show' and 'Potato Star 2013QR3.' She also play supporting roles in 'High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged', 'The Heirs', and 'The Miracle.' Chorong made her debut as the leader of the girl group APink in 2011. She then made her acting debut in 2011 with 'All My Love.' She made a cameo in 'Reply 1997' and as one of the leading role in 'Plus Nine Boys,' being the most recent drama she starred in.
3. APink Eunji
Eunji made her debut in APink in 2011 as their main vocal. She then made her acting debut in the popular drama 'Reply 1997' in 2012 playing as Sung Shi Won. She also made a cameo in the sequel 'Reply 1994' as her character in 'Reply 1997.' She also starred in 'That Winter, The Wind Blows' and 'Trot Lovers,' being the most recent drama she starred in.
2. SNSD Sooyoung
Sooyoung actually made her singing debut in 2002 in Japan as a duo group. She made her debut as a member of the girl group SNSD in 2007. She made her acting debut with the 2008 release drama 'Unstoppable Marriage' and movie 'Hello, Schoolgirl.' She then made cameo appearance in 'Oh! My Lady,' 'Paradise Ranch,' and 'A Gentleman's Dignity.' She then starred in 'The 3rd Hospital,' and 'Dating Agency: Cyrano.' Her most recent drama is 'My Spring Days' release in 2014.

Yoona made her debut through the music video 'Magic Castle' of TVXQ. She officially made her singing debut in 2007 with SNSD. In 2007, she also made her acting debut through the drama 'Two Outs in the Ninth Inning' as Shin Joo Young. She them made cameos in the dramas 'Unstoppable Marriage' and 'Woman of Matchless Beauty, Park Jung Geum.' She then got her first leading role in 2008 playing as Jang Sae Byuk in 'You Are My Destiny.' She also starred in 'Cinderella Man,' 'Love Rain,' and 'Prime Minister and I.' Her most current drama to lease is 'God of War Zhao Yun' playing as Xiahou Qing Yi, making this drama her acting debut in a Chinese drama.
