In today episode of LTA KPOP, I will be continuing from the last episode and talk about Produce 101 with episode 6 to 8. Episode 8 is the currently the last episode I watch fully and I can't wait till the end.
Episode 6
Jang Keun Suk met up with the trainees again to announce the next challenge. The trainees tasked is to perform live in groups based on positions they want in: Vocal, Dance or Rap. The songs chosen for each position is list below.
Vocal: Big Bang 'Monster', EXO 'Call Me Baby', Huh Gak and John Park 'My Best', GFRIEND 'Me Gustas Tu', Zion.T 'Yanghwa BRDG'
Dance: EXO ' Growl', Jessie J ft. Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj 'Bang Bang', Destiny Child 'Say My Name', Sunmi of Wonder Girls 'Full Moon'
Rap: Verbal Jint 'You Look Happy', SMTM4 'Turtle', iKon 'Rhythm Ta'
Each song has a member limit and would be picked by each trainee based on their ranks, in which case Jellyfish Kim Sejeong would have the privilege of choosing the song she was to perform first while Happy Face Hwang Ayoung would automatically be placed in the empty slot. Jang Keun Suk also announced that only 35 trainees will remain in the next round and the winner from each category will receive 100,00 votes addition. The vocal teams are the first to perform and after each performance, they are ranked in their groups first and overall in the category, Jellyfish Kim Sejeong emerged as the winner in the vocal category.
Special Note* CUBE Entertainment announced Kwon Eunbean as one of the new member joining CLC. Eunbin won't join CLC promotions until her participate in Produce 101 ends.

Episode 7
The groups performance in dance and rap category continues as you see the rehearsals and practice of each group along with the performance. The rap performances went first in this episode with Kconic Kim Hyeong Eun emerging as the winner in the rap category. The dance performances went next Jellyfish Kang Mina emerged as the winner of the dance category. Although Jellyfish Kang Mina is the winner in the dance category, the 'Bang Bang' group composed of Choi Yoojung, Jeon Somi, Kim Doyeon, Kim Chungha, Kwon Eunbin, Kim Dani, and Kim Seokyung receive the show's first ever encore call.

Episode 8
In this episode the girls are given an English lesson by trainer Lee Siwon through imitating and watching scenes of rapper Jessi on Unpretty Rapstar. Through a video recording, Jang Keun Suk announces the beginning of the next evaluation prior to the second round of eliminations, meaning that all 61 girls that have survived so far will continue to practice for the performances, but not all of them will necessarily get to perform. The evaluation is revealed to be a concept evaluation and the girls are given five original songs to choose from and the winning team receive a benefit of 150,000 votes.

2nd song → 'Fingertips' → produced by Ryan Jhun → Girl Crush Pop
3rd song → 'Don't Matter' → produced by San E → Hip Hop

The girls choose their teams based on their category and individual ranking from the last evaluation. The first place winner from each position category played Rock Paper Scissor with the winning team picking first. Vocal team won and the get to decide first then Rap team and then Dance team last. However, only 14 people can be on one team (twice the amount that will be on the team after the elimination occurs), the first girl to have chosen a concept is given the right to kick out any extras, thus forcing them to choose another song. After practice for the new songs, the girls undergo the second elimination beginning with rank 34 to 1 with Jellyfish Kim Sejeong once again taking first place. Jang Keun Suk announces the last trainee to survive the second elimination is SS Lee Suhyun.
