PRODUCE Series 'Final Line Up' Similarities and Coincidences

With the latest PRODUCE season finished, we already know who made it to the final line up but before that there was a lot of guessing who is going to make it to the final line up base on similarities and coincidences from the last three seasons. The internet hasn't stop buzzing about who's going to make it to the final line up and even after the final line up was announced there was a lot of things that broke those coincidences and similarities over the last three seasons. 

I have been a huge fan of the PRODUCE series since the very beginning and each seasons, it get harder to pick who's going to make it to the final line up. Honestly, I'm disappointed that some of my favorite trainees didn't make it but at the end of the season, I still love the final line up. There are some members that are predictable, if they don't leave the top debut rankings but since season two, it has become a crazy world of rankings and you don't know who is going to leave the debut ranking. 

In this blog, I am telling you some similarities and coincidences that other people have already name or listed on social media. I'll leave links below if you want to check those out, but I also found some of my own as I was doing my research. Let's go ahead and get started. 

Coincidences NOT Broken

Centers of the 'Theme Track' Debut

Produce 101: Choi Yoo Jung 

Produce 101 Season 2: Lee Dae Hwi

Produce 48: Sakura Miyawaki

Produce X 101: Son Dong Pyo

Theme Track meaning the theme song for the season. This coincidence is still true because all four trainees did debut in the final line up for their seasons. 

Final Line Up Center is Among the Tallest Trainees

Produce 101: Jeon Somi

Produce 101 Season 2: Kang Daniel

Produce 48: Jang Won Young

Produce X 101: Kim Yo Han

Although Kim Yo Han isn't the tallest. According to profiles Kang Min Hee is 1cm taller than Kim Yo Han therefore, Kim Yo Han is among one of the tallest trainees in the group. Which means that this coincidence is still true. 

Trainees who sat on Number 1 chair didn't Debut

Produce 101: Heo Chan Mi

Produce 101 Season 2: Jang Moon Bok, Hong Eun Gi, Hwe Seung

Produce 48: Seo Young

Produce X 101: Yoon Seo Bin

This coincidence is still true. All the trainees who sat down on the number one chair during the first episode didn't debut. 

Final Line Up have a previous debuted trainee

Produce 101: Jung Chae Yeon

Produce 101 Season 2: Hwang Min Hyun and Ha Sung Woon

Produce 48: Kwon Eun Bi, Sakura Miyawaki, Nako Yabuki, and Hitomi Honda

Produce X 101: Han Seung Woo, Cho Seung Youn, Kim Woo Seok and Lee Han Gyul

This coincidence is still very true. I feel that they may have a bigger chance to debut because they already caught people attention by debuting before compare to the other trainees. 

Final Line Up Member include a Trainee in F Class during Pre-Evaluation

Produce 101: Kim So Hye

Produce 48: Nako Yabuki and Kang Hye Won

This would only be true if you count X Class as F Class since they didn't have a F Class during the Pre-Evaluation. They did have a F Class Post-Evaluation. 

Final Line Up includes Two Pairs from same company

Produce 101: Fantagio's Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Do Yeon, Jellyfish's Kang Mina and Kim Se Jeong, and Pledis's Lim Na Young and Kyulkyung

Produce 101 Season 2: MMO's Yoon Ji Sung and Kang Daniel and Brand New Music's Lee Dae Hwi and Park Woo Jin

Produce 48: Woollim's Kwon Eun Bi and Kim Chae Won, Starship's Ahn Yu Jin and Jang Won Young, and EMI Records' Nako Yabuki and Sakura Miyawaki

Produce X 101: MBK's Nam Do Hyun and Lee Han Gyul and Starship's Song Hyeong Jun and Kang Min Hee

Hitomi Honda can be included in EMI Records too but Nako Yabuki and Sakura Miyawaki belongs to the same group during the season. Nako Yabuki and Sakura Miyawaki are from HKT48 while Hitomi Honda is just from AKB48. I feel that this coincidence is going to continue for a very long time. 

Final Line Up includes at least Two Trainees in the Top Ranks throughout the show

Produce 48: Sakura Miyawaki and Jang Won Young

As far as I know, these trainees never left the debut ranking throughout the show. Therefore, it was not hard to picture them in the final line up group at all. 

Final Line Up have at least Three Trainees from the same Dance Team

Produce 101: Jeon Somi, Choi Yoo Jung, Kim Do Yeon, and Jung Chae Yeon

Produce 101 Season 2: Kang Daniel, Park Ji Hoon, Park Woo Jin, and Ong Seong Woo

Produce 48: Lee Chae Yeon, Kwon Eun Bi, Ahn Yu Jin and Choi Yena

Produce X 101: Song Hyeong Jun, Kang Min Hee and Lee Han Gyul

Originally, it was have four trainees but because the latest season would of broken that coincidence, I change it to at least three therefore the coincidence won't be broken. 

Trainee who Lip Sync High Note Debut

Produce 101: Jeon Somi

Produce 101 Season 2: Ong Seong Woo

Produce 48: Ahn Yu Jin

Produce X 101: Lee Hang Gyul 

This is true and also not true because in Produce 48, there was another trainee, Chiyori Nakanishi, who lip sync a high note too. Although she didn't make it to the finale live show and to the final line up group, she did lip sync a high note. This coincidence would only count if we include the trainees who make it to the concept performance evaluation.

Final Center Surname is 'K' or 'J'

Produce 101: Jeon Somi

Produce 101 Season 2: Kang Daniel

Produce 48: Jang Won Young

Produce X 101: Kim Yo Han

This is true. You can already tell but originally this coincidence has to do with the letters being alternative meaning the next season, a trainee who last name starts with a 'J' would rank first at the end of the show. I think this could be true but this can be broken easily too. 

At Least Four trainees of the Avengers Team will make it to the Final Line Up

Produce 101: Jeon Somi, Choi Yoo Jung, Kim Do Yeon, and Kim Chungha

Produce 101 Season 2: Lee Dae Hwi, Park Ji Hoon, Bae Jin Young, and Ha Sung Woon

Produce X 101: Kim Yo Han, Lee Eun Sang, Ha Seung Woo, Son Dong Pyo and Cha Jun Ho

Originally this coincidence was just four trainees but I change it to at least because in the latest season there was five trainees in the avengers group. Also which group would you consider an Avengers group? In the last three season, the Avengers group is chosen from the center of the theme song and also from the first performance evaluation unlike the list use for the first season. 

Trainees Rank in 3rd, 4th and 5th in 1st Elimination will debut in Final Line Up

This was one of the coincidence that I notice right away because of Jeon Somi and Lee Chae Yeon. They both participated in SIXTEEN that debuted TWICE from JYP. This lead me into the next coincidence. 

Final Line Up Trainees have a Connection to Each Other

Before Produce

1. Jeon Somi, Lee Chae Yeon both participated in SIXTEEN

2. Jeon Somi, Lee Chae Yeon, Park Woo Jin, Lee Dae Hwi and Kim Chung Ha were JYP trainees

3. Jeon Somi, Lee Chae Yeon, Park Woo Jin and Lee Dae Hwi are friends

4. Jeon Somi and Kim Woo Seok were MC for 'The Show' 

5. Jeon Somi appeared in UP10TION's MV 'White Night'

6. Kim Se Jeong and Lee Chae Yeon participated in KPOP STAR (different seasons).

7. Kang Min Hee and Ahn Yu Jin appeared in Mad Clown and Ailee's MV 'Thrist'

After Produce 

1. Kang Mina and Ong Seong Woo were MC for Show! Music Core. 

2. Jeon Somi and Ong Seong Woo are models for Bean Poole Sports.

3. Kang Mina and Park Woo Jin were in Law of the Jungle Thailand. 

4. Jeon Somi and Kang Daniel appear in Produce 48. 

5. Lee Dae Hwi appear in Produce 48 and Produce X 101 as a composer.

This was a lot of work and fun to find how each of them were connected. Some were very easy to pinpoint but some were hard.

We have very great visuals in the final line up group. Now I heard that the visual pick is fabricate by the staffs, but that all I heard.

If not the visual rank that is fabricate then it this rank that is fabricate. Again, I have only heard or more like read about it in comments only. The only reason why this is at least four trainees is because in the first two seasons they only rank the top five or six while in the last two seasons they rank the top seven.

This is amazing. They all have amazing and great vocals but they all also rank in the top four too. I personally think that Yu Yeon Jung is the main vocal of I.O.I but I can't deny that Kim Se Jeong isn't a main vocal too, therefore this coincidence work.

Trainees who appear in previous season won't debut in the final line up

Debut Evaluation is the last evaluation performance during the live episode. The centers for the first three seasons did debut but unfortunately, the two trainees in Produce X 101 didn't debut in the final line up. 

Centers of the 'Final Special Song' Debut

Produce 101: Jung Chae Yeon

Produce 101 Season 2: Hwang Min Hyun

Final Special Song is the last performance where all the trainees who make it to the final live show sing a song usually a ballad song. The center for Produce X 101 didn't make it to the final line up therefore this coincidence is broken.

Although Kim Min Gyu was a candidate for X member, he unfortunately didn't make it to the final line up, therefore breaking this coincidence.

The only foreigner trainee left at the end of Produce X 101 was Tony but he rank in 20th place at the end therefore this coincidence is broken. 

First Elimination, Trainee Rank 6 will NOT Debut

Produce 101: Ki Hui Hyeon

Nam Do Hyun did rank in the final line up of Produce X 101 therefore this coincidence is broken. 

First Elimination, Trainee Rank 24 will Debut

The reason why I put 'or' for Produce X 101 is because some people move rank if a trainee left the show. For example, Choi Su Hwan rank 24 originally, therefore this coincidence is broken already, but because Choi Byung Chan left the show before the third evaluation, therefore Lee Jin Hyuk move into rank 24 and Choi Su Hwan move up to rank 23. Honestly, if it was just the top eleven during live show than this coincidence would of work because Lee Jin Hyuk did rank 11 place with just the live votes only. Because of the 'X' rule, he rank 14 therefore didn't make it to the final line up. 

Companies Appear Second during First Episode Debut

Produce 101: Fantagio's Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Do Yeon

Hwang Yun Seong was a fan favorite and a trainee favorite but he didn't make it to the debuting ranks therefore this coincidence is broken.

This coincidence is broken because in the newest season, PRODUCE X 101, we have a total of nine different agencies. Now, if TOP Media Lee Jin Hyuk would of made it to the final line up as the original 14 rank, then this coincidence would still be true. Sad face:(.

These are the coincidences and similarities I found. Some were broken and some weren't but I'm excited to see the next season and compare it to this list and hopefully it would be similar to the final line up we already have. Thank you.
