KPOP OT EP 32: Produce 101 Series vs. Planet Series Part 3: Broken Coincidences Between Produce Series and Girls Planet 999

In today episode, I will be comparing the Produce 101 series and Girls Planet 999 to see the differences and similarities between each show. I am revisiting Girls Planet 999, but before you get mad, I think I should do this before the next season, Boys Planet 2022, starts. We are going back to talk about the Produce 101 series that was popular between 2016 to 2019. 

I decided to split it up into three parts so that each episode will not be too long. The first episode is comparing and contrasting between the Produce 101 series and Girls Planet 999. I will also input what I think the produce should do and not do in the next season of Boys Planet 2022. The second episode is about the coincidences that Produce 101 series had throughout all four seasons that same true. In the third episode I am going to talk about the broken coincidences that happen in the Produce 101 series and compare that to Girls Planet 999.

I did my own research after watching some prediction videos throughout the release of Produce 48 and Produce X 101. I was very interesting in the coincidences and similarities of the different seasons and final groups. So let's get started.

While doing research, some of the information and data was already posted on different sites. You can find those sites, down below in the credits section. But for the purpose of comparing Produce to Girls Planet, this is all done by me and I have not seen or research anything. So, if someone already post something similar please know that I was not aware at all. 

Now, let officially start. 

1. Centers of the Debut Evaluation 

The center of the debut evaluation will debut in the final line up. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series when both of the center of the debut evaluation didn't debut. In Girls Planet 999, this is true because the two final center did debut in the final line up.

2. Center of the Final Song 

The center of the final song at the final live stage debut in the final line up. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series when both of the center of the final song didn't debut. In Girls Planet 999, this is true because the final song center did debut in the final line up.

3. Rank 1 Participated in Dance Position

The center (rank 1) participated in the dance position during the position evaluation. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because the center participated in the vocal position. In Girls Planet 999, the final rank center participated in vocal position.

4. Trainee Rank 1 from First Episode 

The trainee that rank 1st in the first episode will debut in the final line up. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because the trainee didn't debut in the final line up. In Girls Planet 999, this is true but the viewers didn't get to vote in the first episode. The rank was done by the trainers.

5. Foreigner Member

The final line up will include a foreigner trainee. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because no foreigner debuted in the final line up. In Girls Planet 999, this is true because there is three foreigner members in the final line up. This is also because Girls Planet 999 is based on three countries forming a group together.

The trainee rank in 6th from the first elimination will NOT debut in the final line up. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because that trainee did debut in the final line up. In Girls Planet 999, this is true and sad because she was a fan favorite.

This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because the trainee didn't debut in the final line up. In Girls Planet 999, only the ranking from 1st to 9th was given while the rest were ranked in cells.

8. Agency Appearing Second during the First Episode 

The agency that appeared second on the first episode will have a trainee that debut in the final line up. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because that trainee did debut in the final line up. In Girls Planet 999, the girls appeared in cells and not in groups by their agency.

9. Only One Vocal Center

During the second mission or position evaluation, only one of the center for vocal will debut in the final line up. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because there was two trainees that made the debut in the final line up. In Girls Planet 999, the center is know as the killing part. This is true because only one member of the final line up was a vocal center.

This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because that trainee did not debut in the final line up. In Girls Planet 999, this is also not true because the last trainee including the Planet Pass trainee didn't make it to the final debut.

12. Eight Different Agency in Final Line Up

The final line up will included eight different agencies. This coincidences happen to not be true in the last season of Produce 101 series because there is nine agencies that have trainees that made it into the debut final line up. In Girls Planet 999, this is true even though it wasn't focus on the agencies.

Looking back, the last season of Produce 101 broke a lot of the coincidences. Surprisedly! Honestly, this is just us the viewers making a list to see who is going to make the final debut line and many times it happen. They may have the same coincidences and many times, it may not happen. At the end of the day, we just have to support all the trainees so that they would be able to reach and make their dream come true.
