LTA KPOP EP 67: Top 10 Performance on KPOP STAR

KPOP STAR is a reality TV competition series where the three largest entertainment / talent agencies in South Korea hold worldwide auditions to find the next potential KPOP stars. Preliminary auditions are held around the world in Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. The final winner will debut with the company of his or her choices along with a cash prize of three hundred million won (300,000 US dollars), two brand new vehicles, opportunities to become commercial models and casting in dramas plus many more benefits.

The three original judges for these series were Yang Hyun Suk, Park Jin Young, and BoA. Yang Hyun Suk is founder of YG Entertainment and former member of the popular South Korean group Seo Taiji & Boys. Park Jin Young is a singer / song-writer and the founder of JYP Entertainment. BoA is Korean pop icon from SM Entertainment. SM, YG, and JYP are the three largest management companies in Korea. BoA was replaced by singer-songwriter You Hee Yeol for season 3 and with the changes of the judges in season 3, the three judges will no longer represent the 'Big 3' management companies but rather themselves and the music industry.

With a little background of the show, I here to give you my top 10 performances from KPOP Star. Truly and honestly, I have only seen the first two season only and some performance from the third season. I have not seen any performance from the fourth season at all and majority of the performance in the list are from the first and second season. Hey, there might be a part two to this list if I ever do finish watch the whole entire season of three and four.
